TBTK badminton smashes at upper Cogon court

SMASHING hostilities at the court greet homecoming Boholanos and festival revelers at the first Tigum Bol-anon sa Tibuok Kalibutan (TBTK) badminton tournament of the Bohol Badminton Enthusiasts Club. Event organizers said the tournament leveling was done from July 19-21 at the Brgy. Cogon Badminton Court.

The tournament, sponsored by the Tagbilaran Association of Southern California, Inc. (TASCI), promises a bounty, said president Liux Corales and treasurer Eric Inting. Expected to be on hand during the tournament and awarding ceremonies will be the order officers and members of the association who came from Southern California to participate in the TBTK activities and give their support for this said tournament.

The tournament is scheduled for barge into hostilities as it opens following a ceremony at the newly opened Brgy. Cogon Badminton Court , at Upper Cogon, Tagbilaran on July 27 at 5 p.m. The organizers also figured out two day- tourney, concluding on the 29th with a closing and awarding ceremony later in the afternoon. With new follower-ship and reinvigorated stress on badminton here, the tournament promises to load exciting badminton matches. Expected to play in the shuttlecock supremacy are elites, advanced, average, intermediate and beginner players who will compete for the championship trophies and runner-up medals.

The said venue, the newly furbished six tiered bleachers on both sides of the gym and badminton courts ensure that spectators and tournament players get to see and enjoy all the games.
