TREATED BY THE HOLY WORDS OF GOD!

John 5: 24 “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my words and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”

This is the story of my life's journey, searching for the answer where to find joy, peace of mind, healing, and contentment that will never fail. I'm about to lost hope to live life to the fullest. I thought it was the end of everything until I found Jesus who promises eternal life. He gives me strength, hope and new life. Only God made all the “impossible” in my life to “POSSIBLE”. It is through His mighty words and the wonders of his mighty acts.

I am Mrs. Joselyn L. Maglaway of Sondol, Loon Bohol of legal age, married and blessed with 2 children. I will praise the name of Jesus for He is my strength and my shield. My heart leaps for joy and I will give Him thanks for He save me from pains and distress. I will proclaim His glorious and majestic deeds. I will praise Him for the gift of faith and healing He bestowed.

It was year 2001 that I felt severe pains in my head. September 2001, suddenly I collapsed. As I woke up, I was already in Perpetual Socour Hospital in Cebu . I was confined for one month. No exact findings found. One day, a group of people conducted healing prayer in our room. My husband requested the prayer leader to include me in their prayer. They prayed over me. After the prayer, I felt so light I felt healing deep within me. I gained back my strength and I had good appetite to eat. I was discharged in the hospital. After 6 months, I was again brought to the hospital. At this time, I was confined in Cebu Doctors Hospital under the care of Dr. Layno. At this point of time, I became more sickly & weak. My condition grew worse. My body became bone & skin. The doctor's findings stated that I'm sick of “Aneurysm”. A thin vein in my head burst and it causes blood clotting. They found tumor in my brain weighing 3-5 cm. The doctor advised for an early operation to save my life. We were told to prepare 700 thousand to 1 million for the operation expenses.

The operation is to be conducted in Makati Medical Center in Manila for they lack instruments for the said operation. We went home hopeless, full of fears & worries. Our treasures and money were all spent already during my first confinement in Perpetual Socour hospital. Here comes another big amount needed for me to live. It was between life & death but it was impossible for us to reach such amount. As I stayed home having rested, I was attacked with so much pain and I got stroke. I became paralyzed. The more we lost our hope. My husband & I didn't know what to do and where to go. We prayed & asked Jesus to help us. Truly, God is true to His promise in Jeremiah 33:3. He sends us angels through Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement leaded by Sis Linda Somonte. They are members of the healing ministry team in Bohol . We had overnight prayer. We started at 11pm & ended at 3 am dawn. They let me read the book of Psalms. My husband hesitated. He told them that I'm not allowed to read any reading materials for the severe pain in my head will attack. I will struggle in pain. Sis. Linda explained to us that the words of God in the Bible are not ordinary words. It is God as stated in the John 1:1. It also promises healing as stated in Mateo 8: 14-17. I read several chapters.

As I go on reading, I felt so light, the pains in my head were gone. I was healed instantly. It was great miracle from God. Starting from that moment, I experienced no more pains. I gained back my strength & I became active. I went back to Cebu Doctors hospital to confirm if my condition was fine. My doctor was amazed and He said that it was miracle happened to me for all the findings are negative. In my case, the doctor said that is very rare cases that the patient will survive. It was really God working behind it. I got sick year 2001, now we are 2007 but I'm here alive & very active. With in fact, I gave birth to our second child last February 2003. Praise the Lord! Glory to God! The promises of God in Psalm 91 are indeed true. All these things are for the honor and glory to God. I am praying that everyone who read this testimony will be blessed and healed in the mighty name of Jesus. His name is power and medicine to our body & soul.
