POWER OF FAITH

Really God is faithful to His words. He has done miracles in my life. In the year 2001 that was February 28 in the morning I suffered an extraordinary sickness. I was admitted in one of the hospitals in our city for one week. I was diagnosed of “conjunctive heart failure”-warning stage and I was referred to Cebu . I went to Chong Hua Hospital and I was recommended to have a “pacemaker”. I was informed that the cost of one chamber is P150, 000.00 and it will last 3-5 years, if two chambers the cost is P300, 000.00 to last ten years or more. I had no sufficient funds to answer the cost so I was forced to return home.

I was in bed for more that one month for I could no longer sit or stand more than 15 minutes for if seated or if I stood up I collapsed. I was chastened on a bed of pain. My daughter who is working at the Coca Cola Plant heard from her boss' invitation to have me prayed over by the healing ministry so my daughter contacted and called them and thanks God on March 28, 2001 they were sent to us as angels from God or messengers of God's words as promised in Job 33:19-26.

They came for a prayer meeting and inspired me about the promises of God in His holy words. They requested me to sit down but I refused for fear but they were able to persuade me. I was about to collapse but when they cast out the spirit of ailment in the name of Jesus I regained my strength and was able to sit for almost 2 hours in prayer and in listening to the words of God. I surrendered myself to God through repentance and after the series of testimonies I received the gift of faith especially my daughter, Chris for she was used to support me in times that I was weakened. It was a gift from God for immediately after the prayer meeting I was able to dine with them in the dining table and this was impossible for me after I was admitted in the hospital, PRAISE THE LORD. Right after the day I was prayed over my whole family and I surrendered to God by going with the healing team in their overnight prayer and attended prayer meetings in the Cathedral.

The result of our sacrifices bears fruits: my life is renewed and, moreover, my family is now in the service of the Lord. Jesus restored my strength and He redeemed my soul having saved me from the pit of death. Thanks God that I was not able to submit the papers for my retirement for I was back to work as a sheriff in the Regional Trial Court in April, 2001 and in addition, I was able to have my nursing student continue her studies because God saved my expenses for the pace maker, hospitalization and medication. My daughter is now a nurse and is now working abroad. Had it not been of the divine intervention and the grace of God, we could not be as what we are now.
