Man hacks brother using a scythe

JAGNA – GRIM reaper did not come with a hood over his head, though he did come with a scythe, harvesting his brother's life a bit too early. After a heated verbal argument escalating to an attempt to bludgeon his brother using chopped firewood, James Acenas snapped back after his brother's miss.

Witness accounts, according to police investigations said the two had a verbal tussle, and when things got worse, James' brother picked up a dried chopped firewood, struck his brother with it. Probably seeing the attack as an unthinkable aggression against him, James unsheathed his scythe and did what Cain did to Abel, thousands of years ago.

Using the farming tool, James hacked his brother causing his death in Lonoy, January 19th. Initial reports gathered by the local police said Herbert was rushed to the nearest hospital but succumbed to death later.

James, a 46 year old married resident of barangay Lonoy, 46 years of age and married hacked to death with a scythe his younger brother. The victim Herbert 38 lived with their parents. The same sources revealed further that the younger brother was cooking at the time of the incident. Investigators theorized that the incident happened because of differences in position, and when zealously imposes his will upon others, it could happen. The suspect surrendered voluntarily to the responding element of the police authorities.
