BELIEVE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE!

“For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the scripture says, “anyone who trust in Him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentiles the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him. For, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

I am Mrs. Susan Baguio of Lomanoy Lila, Bohol . I will praise the Lord and proclaim His marvelous acts. I will give Him thanks for the gift of faith and for tremendous healing of my family from different diseases. May 2005, daily prayer started in our place. My two children attended the prayer from 7 to 9 pm even without having supper. I got angry. I fetched them from the chapel and said i would never permit them to go back for I never believed in prayer. With that, they cried and forced me to let them go in prayer.

During the prayer, my 7 years old daughter, Angelica, presented herself for pray over. She suffers from itch and festering sores in her right foot since she was 1 year old. I brought her to the doctor and I spent a lot of money for medicines, but instead of getting better she grew worse. Now, with the prayer sessions, after 1 week, I noticed that my daughter's foot became dry and the flakes were gone. Then i realized it is only in prayer that her wounds were healed. But i was hardened and never acknowledged it as miracle. Then, one day, my youngest son, suffered asthma. Bobby, my eldest son, who used to attend the daily prayer, told me that we will go to the chapel for healing prayer instead of going to the doctor. I ignored my son and I went to the doctor.

After several weeks of medication, my youngest son's asthma became worst. Bobby who is 11 years old at that time told me that I should believe in God and urged me to bring his brother to the prayer healing. He told me to attend even once to hear the different testimonies of those who were healed. He convinced me and once I try to attend. I went to prayer just to test if God really is a miraculous God. At that moment I still don't have faith in God. But my son, Bobby and daughter, Angelica prayed to Jesus that my youngest son will be healed and I will receive the gift of faith. Right after the prayer, Praise the Lord Alleluia, Bryle was totally healed from asthma. After that, I joined the daily prayer meeting having received the gift of faith. As I live in the grace of faith our family gets healed from different diseases for free by reading the bible. Before, I usually go to the health center for check up and spend a lot of money.

In July, 2005 our place was affected by dengue. A lot of children were got sick, including my whole family. My husband and my four children were sick with fever. My youngest son, Bryle was greatly affected. Having experienced that God heals diseases by His words, I never went to the hospital but I went to the healing prayer sessions. The fever lasted for two weeks. Every time I went to the prayer my son was healed but by the time I went back home the fever is back. Sometimes I had doubts and fears especially when I saw my son became so weak and pale. His whole body was covered by red spots. But I never stopped praying. Even at 4 am (dawn) I went to Sis. Gemma for support prayer. My neighbors were frightened that my son will die of dengue. My neighbors were apprehensive, some adding that my son would die because all we did was prayer. They asked me why we did not seek medication. But I claimed what i had is Jesus promise in Psalm 91 and Jeremiah 33:3. One Saturday afternoon, my neighbors gathered and told me to bring my son to the hospital for my child was so weak, he can hardly breathe and pale. I packed our clothes ready to go the hospital.

But before I went to the hospital I went to Gemma's house for prayer. I told Gemma that we would go to the hospital since it was already two weeks of prayer, my child still ill. Gemma told me that it is my decision where to go defending on the level of my faith. She told me to pray first before we will go the hospital. She asked me to let my husband join the prayer and my whole family for unity. She told me to remove all my fears and doubts.

That night, we prayed together with my family and my neighbors who believe in prayer. During the prayer, my son vomits and perspires a lot and urinates 7 times. His body discharges were hot. After the prayer my son played and was totally healed. It was miracle; just a matter of 1 hour, my son was healed. I was not able to reach the hospital. God gives complete healing for free to those who believe in Him. I realized that if we have doubts and fears in times of trials, God can not pour out His blessings for our faith is not strong. That incident makes me more faithful to God and His name was proclaimed to my neighbors through my son. Now, my whole family is serving the Lord. Thanks to Jesus for His miraculous deeds and the management for giving us the chance to proclaim the good news. Alleluia, Amen.
