Rapist's son buried alive

Talibon - meanwhile, the 19-year-old unwed mother who half-buried her one-day-old baby boy late last month has turned out to be a rape victim also. But hers is a different case. Melissa (not her real name), got pregnant after she was allegedly raped by a former town councilor who then supported her schooling as his working student.

The girl has been described as chubby, so that her parents failed to notice her bulging belly due to a forced pregnancy by rape. Finally in the third week of last month, Melissa delivered a baby boy who is the son of the alleged rapist, according to town Police Chief Alex dela Cerna. She half-buried alive her baby boy at the back of their house without her parents even knowing her pregnancy and delivery.

The police officer said Melissa had no “criminal” intent of murdering her own child since she would even secretly see and feed here baby boy exactly where he had been half-buried alive. The child miraculously survived in his “dead” condition for ever 24 hours since birth until he was found still alive and rushed to a hospital.

Melissa was first raped when she was 17, Del Cerna said based on police chief said charges for rape in relation to the child abuse law have been filed against the alleged rapist who was a former government official. Dela Cerna refused to mention the accused apparently to avoid leads identifying the victim instead. The police officer described Melissa as still far from recovering from physical stress, mental fatigue and emotional torture. Melissa's child by her rapist is till in a hospital until the baby boy is totally safe
