POWER OF THE PROMISE OF GOD

Acts 16:31” believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved-you and your household. Then they spoke the word of the Lord o him and to all the others in his house.

I am Eliza Ignacio of Lomanoy, Lila, Bohol . I was married to a native of Luzon so I stayed in Manila where my husband was working. On March 16, 2005 in the afternoon I vomited blood and the waste that I discharged was also a dead blood. On March 18, 2005 I went to the hospital for a check up and the result of the ultra sound was that there was a stone in my gall bladder and a severe hyper acidity. I was prescribed with three classes of medicines taken three times a day. I had no money so I was not able to take the medicines completely as prescribed so I was already skin and bones for I only eat porridge and soup because I was also forbidden to eat solid foods for fear of indigestion. I was already so pale and my doctor advised me to submit for laboratory of my blood for I was suspected of hepatitis but I had no money so I was not able to submit for blood laboratory. I was already very pale, weak and I thought I almost die so I decided to be home in my home town at Lila so I reached home on May 3, 2005 . When I arrived home I was informed that in our place many has experienced the power of healing through prayer and there is already daily prayer meetings and she told me that all diseases will be healed if we just accept and believe Jesus. At first I doubted and I didn't believe so I refused to attend the scheduled prayer meetings but she forced me. In one week's time of attending the nightly prayer meetings I was able to hear the testimonies and I witnessed that our neighbors were healed and so my eyes were opened and I was able to receive the gift of faith.

I received Jesus and I continued to join with them in prayer with praises and reading the Bible and gradually all my struggles were gone and I am totally healed because now I am strong and can eat anything and is back to my normal work that I did before I was sick, thanks GOD. It was not only me who was healed, after I experienced healing my 7 months old child who was also suffering of infection in the ear that was oozing and was very odorous was also healed. I had spent much for his medication and the doctor said that the eardrum has been affected. When I received the gift of faith I surrendered the medicines of my child and changed the medication by the power of prayer and hearing to the words of GOD because I sensed that there was no improvement and has realized that prayer healed me. After one month the child was totally healed. After my youngest child was healed my eldest child had a boil inside the nose and his breathing was very odorous and his nose also bled. Because I was already in the grace of GOD and had already experienced healing by the grace of God and because of the gift of faith that I received, I did not bring him to the doctor but I continued serving the LORD, attending daily prayer meetings, and listening to His words he was also totally healed. THANKS GOD of the greatest gift that I received my 2 years and 5 years old children are growing with great faith in GOD. PRAISE GOD until now I am still in Lila going with the outreaches even in the other barrios. Alleluiah, I am proclaiming of what God has done to me and my family. He is the only God who can work miracles and I want to exalt His name to all the ends of the earth and thanks God also for the Sunday Post Newspaper that HIS name is exalted and magnified.
