DELIVERANCE FROM THE BONDAGE OF THE ENEMY!

Ephesians 6:10-12 & 14-16 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world & against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled round your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”

Who wants to be delivered from the bondage of sickness, pains, troubles and sinfulness? Jesus promises good life. He doesn't want us to be imprisoned with distress. He will set us free from the bondage of our enemy, which is the king of darkness. Jesus brings us to life...a life filled with love, serenity and security...a life filled with JESUS!----- LIFE BEGINS WHEN JESUS COMES IN!-----

I am Marchelly Laganson of Lomanoy, Lila Bohol. I want to proclaim the good news that Jesus is still doing miracles at this time through His Holy Spirit and His Holy Words. I will praise His name for He gives us freedom from pains and sicknesses. He drove away all the works of evil in our family. November 2004, my aunt suffered from severe stomach pains caused by gall stone. She asked my mother to touch her and heal her through her hands and her words as the quack doctors did. She whispered some words over her head. She exercised the acts of a quack doctor or “mamanbalan” even if she's not one of them.

Suddenly, I was frightened upon hearing my mother's shout that she saw a devil, very dark with long horn and tail. Then her body seizes and became hard like stone and her eyes went bloodshot. She gnashed her teeth. I was frightened. She was possessed by a bad spirit. We were all afraid. We don't know what to do. We hanged 5 rosary beads over her neck as what we've seen on television. Because of our fears we forgot to pray. My mother struggled in pain and her voice rumbled as of a big man. We were frightened.

I remember Ate Gemma who supported us in prayer. She led the prayer meeting in our place. I was able to attend a healing prayer in my best friend's house and I witnessed that her mother was healed from fever. I rushed immediately to her house. I beg for help. Without hesitations, Ate Gemma hurriedly grasped the Bible and we run to our house. While on the way to our house, we prayed to Jesus. We ask the anointing of the Holy Spirit

. As we entered to our house, my mother shouted a very loud voice as if she's going to fight Ate Gemma. We gathered together and united in prayer. We stated Psalm 91 together. We sung praise songs and we cast out the devil in Jesus name. We read the Bible and asked forgiveness for our sins. We started at 8 pm then by 10 pm my mother still in struggle.

Ate Gemma told us that we will try to remove the rosary beads and she explained that we are Catholics and the Rosary beads are used to pray the Holy Rosary. But if we just hang it over a body and we don't utter any prayer, it will not work. The best protections against evil are prayer and faith in Jesus as stated in Mark 9:29. We removed the rosary and continued to pray. By the time we cast out the devil, my mother fight us back with loud voice. While we prayed, Ate Gemma saw a vision to cut off the scapular necklace of my mother. At first she just ignored the vision. She was hesitant to cut it off because it is a scapular. But the time she laid her hands over my mother's head again she saw the same vision.

Then she finally decided to cut it off. Suddenly, a burst of air comes out from my mother's mouth and she was relieved. Her body became limp and her voice sounded normal. She asked a glass of water and she was astonished why we surrounded her in prayer. Then she's looking for her necklace and she revealed that it came from a well-known quack doctor in Loon. Finally we understood why Jesus wants to cut it off. It came from a quack doctor and it's against God.

After that, again she shouted loudly asking for help. She said she saw lots of people carrying her to the top of a mountain. We started praising God, read the Bible and cast out evil in Jesus name. She relaxed, it was 12 midnight already. Ate Gemma decided to ask support prayer from a Tagbilaran healing team. Father got the car and I packed some clothes. But my mother was hesitant to go. She insisted that she'd be the one to pray. We prayed heartily to Jesus to help us. My mother stood up but she's walking like a robot. While traveling to Tagbilran, we continued singing praise songs and my mother sung with us but her voice is like a robot. I fell asleep but Ate Gemma woke me up to continue pray.

We reached Sis Linda's house. My mother was amazed where she was. She seems to be fine at that moment. She told us that she couldn't remember anything except seeing a devil with long tail and horn. We prayed together and she was fully delivered. My mother decided to go home to Lila. She said that she's fine and well. At 1.15 am we went back to Lila bringing the banner of complete healing and the gift of faith. My mother experienced instant healing. We thank God for His miraculous deeds. He made us as living witnesses to His merciful acts. Now we are in the grace of serving the Lord.

We always attend the daily prayer meeting in our place. We serve the Lord also by going to other barrios to proclaim God's word. I am glad that I witnessed such incident like my mother's. It brings faith not just to me but to my whole family. We proclaim this all for the glory of God. My sincere thanks also to the Management of Sunday Post for this column allowing us to spread the good news that God is still doing miracles until this time and everybody can be a living witness if you will BELIEVE!
