CVSCAFT-Bilar tops All ROTC units here |
CENTRAL Visayas State College of Agriculture Forestry and Technology-Bilar Campus Reserve Officers' Training Course Unit tops Bohol 's ROTC units this year. CVSCAFT Bilar took 88.96% to lead Bohol 's ROTC units. UB ROTC Unit came close second with 88.48% followed by HNU ROTC Unit in 3rd place with 88.11% while BIT-IC ROTC Unit obtained 88.03%. These ROTC Units were evaluated based on the following aspects: Administrative, which include among others office appearance, records/reports, filing system, training aids and Methods of Instruction (MOI); and Tactical Aspect, which covers the Ceremonial Parade, company drill, military stakes and Theoretical examinations in all subjects. Newly-installed 7th Regional Community Defense Group, ARESCOM Commander and Officer-in-Charge of the 702nd ( Bohol ) Community Defense Center , Colonel Eduardo Polintan INF (GSC) PA spearheaded this year's three-day ROTC Regional Annual Administrative and Performance Evaluation (RAAPE) team in its mission Feb 3-5. Polintan succeeded vice Colonel Guillermo Luyao (JSC) PA who retired from military service earlier last month. The nine-member evaluation team has Cpt Roqueto Pingol (CE) PA as Vice Chairman; MSgt William Luchavez (Inf) PA; MSgt Oscar Rapas (Inf) PA; MSgt Francisco Tabug (Inf) PA; Sgt. William Palomo (Inf) PA; MSgt Leonardo Paulo Sr (Inf) PA; MSgt Leonardo Del Oeste (Inf) PA and Sgt Arniel Mejia (Inf) PA as members. The annual evaluation is designed to evaluate all activated and affiliated army ROTC Units in Region VII to determine the degree of administrative efficiency, training management proficiency and quality of training and education attained by the Corps of Cadets of different ROTC Units. To be transparent, Col Polintan read on the spot results of all aspects of evaluation A short program preceded before the evaluation proper which was attended by no less than UB President, Atty. David Tirol, Senior BM and BIT-IC President Emeritus Atty. Dionisio Balite and HNU Vice President for Academics, Rev. Fr. Romeo Bancale, SVD. Fr. Bancale delivered inspiring messages for their institutions. RAAPE Vice Chair CAPT Pingol introduced Colonel Polintan while he introduced the members of the team. 1st Bohol RRBN Comdr. Lieut. Colonel Prisco Vinalon Jr. (GSC) RES PA gave the welcome remarks, that day. |
