BIR reminds payers, Register '07 “Books”

BUREAU of Internal Revenue (BIR) District Officer Rogelio Balaga is reminding all business establishments here to comply with the basic requirement to register Books of Accounts for calendar year 2007 on or before December 31, 2006. And to avoid the rush, taxpayers are then advised to register their Books earlier considering of the holiday season rush. Registration of Books has started as early as October of this year.

For Tagbilaran City , taxpayers are advised to see Lenie Chatto at the Taxpayers' Service Section here at the BIR District Office at Judge Antonio Oppus Uy Bldg., M. Torralba St. , this city. Taxpayers from the different towns are also to look for BIR Collection Officers assigned in their respective towns.
