Capitol bigwig orders the release of cash benefits

TO the delight of Capitol employees, Provincial Administrator Tomas Abapo, Jr., in behalf of Gov. Erico Aumentado has issued a memorandum directing the provincial finance team to immediately process for the release of year-end bonus and cash gift to provincial officials and employees. In a memorandum dated November 22, Abapo, who was a long serving provincial legislator directed Provincial Budget Officer Valeria Orig, Provincial Accountant Joseth Celocia and Provincial Treasurer Eustaquio Socorin to immediately start the processing of payments of year-end bonus and cash gift benefits to Capitol officials and employees. The memorandum also advised offices and hospitals to submit or file their respective payrolls with supporting papers to facilitate the release of these privileges in time for the Christmas Season. The benefits, Capitol officials said are in pursuant to existing Local Budget circulars.
