By Gregorio A. Tavera

JAGNA – NEWLY assigned Land Transportation Office (LTO) in-charge here is getting a lot of foreign help in pursuing order in this paper laden agency and a Japanese technology of the 5S is what he believes should help him. With the recent transfer of former LTO in-charge Epimaco Caballero to Mandaue City , LTO officer-in-charge (OIC) Joel Maloloy-on Maloloy-on bared that his agenda of administration is in line with the 5S philosophy.

The 5S, which means sorting out, (pagbubuklod-buklod), systematic arrangement (pagsasaayos), spic and span (paglilinis), standardizing (pagpapanatili) and self-discipline (pagdidisplina sa sarili) is a famoud Japanese workplace attitudinal habit to be instilled to workers so as to achieve better working efficiency. Maloloy-on, a bachelor is also a lawyer and a regional LTO human resource personnel from Labangon, Cebu City.

On his assumption, Maloloy-on appeared before the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) in its regular session. He was introduced to the August body by SB member Andrew Tadena.

It can be recalled that Maloloy-on's predecessors are only OICs. Jagna office is under the administrative supervision of Oscar Peque who is the chief based on the plantilla of officers.
