Job fair for domestic Helpers set Dec. 6-7 |

TALIBON – STIRRING the under-utilized manpower on this part of Bohol , Mayor Juanario Item recently announces the coming jobs fair December 6-7. The move is continuing the government effort in putting the country's thousands of job seekers and skilled workers of the town. For the December fair, Maanyag International Manpower Corporation (MIMC) a Manila based and Philippines Overseas and Employment Agency (POEA) licensed recruitment agency opens up positions for domestic helpers for Singapore and State of Kuwait. Now offering on a “Fly Now Pay later” scheme, the agency encourages people to get to the event set to serve job seekers. Agency representatives would conduct personal interviews to all interested applicant at the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) near the Office of the Mayor starting 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Roldano Munalem, PESO Manager confirmed this information adding that the special job recruitment activity is supported by the LGU under the able leadership of Mayor Item. However, only domestic helper slots are available during the affair. PESOs of neighboring towns are then asked to take the rare opportunity to send their applicants. The special jobs fair is the 5th time that special job fair of such kind for unemployed, underemployed constituents are conducted here. Earkier fairs have opened up jobs for Boholanos in the Middle Eastern countries of State of Kuwait, Jordan , Qatar , Intied Arab Emirates, Dubai and Asian countries of Singapore , Hongkong , Malaysia and Taiwan. For the upcoming event, applicants must be 21-38 years old, high school graduate, physically fit and free from any sickness, can speak and understand English language, with or without Philippine passport. Applicant who can speak Mandarin is an advantage. |
