Jagna has new LTO registrar

FRESHLY installed into his job as Land Transportation Office district registrar in Jagna, Joel Maloloy-on hopes to shift the office into gear to get to their new office before the year closes. LTO Regional Director Alex Leyson signed Maloloy-on's appointment papers. Maloloy-on, who is also a lawyer replaces former Jagna LTO registrar Epimaco Caballero. The new Jagna registrar also comes to fill into a seat that has been strongly criticized for irregularities, but with his concurrent position as chief of the Human Resource Management Office and the Regional Internal Audit Section chief, hopes have remained bright for a new LTO image here.

Taking in for his official take-over last Monday, October 30, Maloloy-on takes Caballero's seat after the former registrar gets reassigned un LTO Mandaue District Office as officer in charge starting this Wednesday, November 8. Caballero has earlier requested for his transfer owing to the fact that he is still undergoing medical check-ups. Maloloy-on, a bachelor at 30 hails from Labangon in Cebu City. Asked for his impact plan, Maloloy-on said he would work for the immediate transfer of the LTO office to its new site within the year, a tough schedule to beat.
