Pag-IBIG info-caravan Drives thru the IC Mall

MAKING government work for the people, Home Development Mutual Fund's Pag-IBIG fund goes to where they are most visible and easily accessible: the mall. In an innovative step to assert government services and taking the modern concept of presenting the government service options in a shopping environment, Pag-IBIG spreads the commitment of helping member clients in building houses and thus, homes. Now, it comes for an Information Caravan this Tuesday and Wednesday November 7-8 at the activity center of the Island City Mall. At the venue, the government home development fund conduit offers drop-down menu for Pag-iBIG services to its members who have otherwise not been served by them.

The first ever outreach in Bohol allows a one-stop-shop for HDMF or Pag-IBIG's services, says Victoria B. dela Peña, HDMF Department manager in a letter to the Philippine Information Agency. The information caravan opens up Pag-IBIG's off site multi-purpose loan applications and verification processing in a day. More than that, the caravan also allows claims, membership applications including overseas workers, queries on services and programs, the Pag-IBIG overseas Program, housing loan consultations and queries and other special concerns and services, she added. The information caravan also hopes to build goodwill to Boholano members while convincing members with outstanding obligations or arrears to update their contributions easily and conveniently, Pag-ibig authorities said in a letter sent to PIA. Aside from the services, the caravan also features exhibits while at the same time brings a team of frontline staff from Cebu to serve the clients.
