Proverbs 4:20-23, My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words, Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart , for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. Above all else, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life.

I am Constantino Anit of Cantiguib, Alburquerque, Bohol . I am a farmer, a tuba gatherer and sometimes a carpenter. I thank God for my life has been extended for His purpose that I will be united with Him.

In the year 1995, I suffered a sickness that I thought would end my life because the sickness that I suffered was the same sickness that my wife suffered. She died of that sickness after two months. I was just surprised that I felt weak and my body was all in pain and could no longer climb the coconut trees that I used to climb everyday.

I have heard of the news that my cousins has become a member of the Catholic Charismatic because she was healed through prayer. So, I requested them because we were also my neighbors in Cantiguib to pray for me. They came to our house, had the prayer meeting and I was prayed over . I was instantly healed and was back to my usual work. I continued attending the prayer meeting in our barrio. Few months after I stopped attending and I was back to my vices in gambling. I felt that several months after my sickness reoccurred and I was brought to the hospital. Instead of gaining health I became serious, so, I was brought home and my parents called up many quack doctors to heal me.

My condition became worst that I could no longer stand up and walk. I could no longer eat with my own. I thought death was waiting for me because I was surprised that the bees and the fireflies are drawing near to my bedside. I never called up my cousins to pray for me and my cousins did not also bother to help me because I went to quack doctors, but, God is good and merciful.

One night, that was Sunday, my neighbor was celebrating her birthday and they invited the Charismatic group in Tagbilaran for a prayer meeting. My mother attended the prayer meeting and she asked the group whether they could help me because she was hesitant to request for the reason that we went to quack doctors. When the group answered they were still willing to help me, my mother requested them to come to our house right after the birthday for a prayer to rescue me because I was already skin and bones for I had no appetite to eat. All of us submitted to God and my whole family grouped together for the prayer.

After the prayer we were advised to continue the prayer with the family and requested our cousins, who did the first pray over that I was instantly healed to come every night for the prayer because the group in Tagbilaran promised to be back only on the Friday. We followed their advised and my mother and I even sacrificed to wake up in the midnight to read the Bible and wake up early in the morning for the praising that they we were taught aside from the prayer meeting every night that my cousins led.
