JAGNA – AFTER a filling treat on the banquet, Jagna fiesta revelers here are also in for the thrill of a “fista” hostilities in punching exchange with no less than 3 professional fights at 10 rounds and other supporting bouts. Mayor Exuperio Lloren and Msgr Orencio Jubac have again showed that both hands working can deliver better than one, as both “punched” to get the canvas set up and the lights burning in that square arena at the park.

The battle on top of the ring here comes out September 29, and coincides with the 375th founding anniversary of the town and parish. With the double celebrations, local officials and church authorities have also set up religious and socio-cultural activities for the special occasion. The exchange of hostilities is offered free of charge but reserved ringside seats are for guests.

The boxing event, a total of 42-round exchange of heavy punches assuming that nobody of the ring hopefuls get knocked out is sponsored by Atty. Fortunato “Vic-Vic” Rances Abrenilla, who also vows to hand in prizes to the fighters.
