Floating resto business: Raising a level higher

The floating restaurant business in Loboc is never the same again with the entry of Café Guadalupe. Trying to raise a level higher of the lucrative enterprise, the owners of Café Guadalupe are hoping that one day, it will carve a new niche in the highly competitive floating restaurant market. The niche segment of the market it is trying to carve out is that it is the only floating restaurant that offers ala carte services to its clients. While other restaurants are catering to traditional buffets, Café Guadalupe struggled to be different with its set of menus where the customers can make culinary orders of their own choice. With its two restaurants, customers can choose between fine dining and native ambiance.

All these amenities of fine dining and native setting can be enjoyed while cruising the fabled Loboc River from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It will also interest floating resto guests that Café Guadalupe is also serving a merienda buffet anytime of the day. The snacks to be served are favorite merienda treats known in Loboc. At the helm of this innovative feature in the floating restaurant venture is Christian Anther M. Calipusan, general manager. His four years experience as operation manager of Somerset Millennium Hotel in Makati makes him the right person in the right place-- that is the Café Guadalupe in Loboc.
