School building turned over

INABANGA – The Cambitoon Elementary School now has a new building. As a response to the request of the faculty and parents of the pupils of the school, Gov.Erico Aumentado, Rep. Roberto Cajes of Bohol 's 2nd District, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the local government unit (LGU) under the leadership of Mayor Josephine Socorro Jumamoy pooled resources to build one.

The one-classroom school building was turned over by Ricomar Enterprise and Construction to DPWH Engr. Balaba representing District Engr. Ramie Doroy, to Cajes, Jumamoy, to Barangay Captain Emiliano Diviono, to the Cluster Principal Pablito Petallar to Parents-Teachers-Community Association (PTCA) President Saturnino Arcales and to School In-Charge Carlos Niones Jr. Cajes said the classroom would not be possible without the cooperation of the other offices and agencies.

He urged the teachers to fully utilize the classroom. It should be an instrument for them to become successful and responsible citizens. He urged parents to instill in the minds of their children the importance of education – a major thrust in the Jumamoy administration. Jumamoy urged the beneficiaries to take care of the gift that will serve as a channel for a better education that augurs well for a brighter future.

She encouraged the local folk, parents and students to always support the programs and plans her administration implements. Her administration, in partnership with Cajes and Aumentado will always be behind them– united to achieve their goal of building a better and brighter future for today's children and all Inabangnons.

Executive Assistant Joseph Lemuel Camacho represented the governor. He urged the local folk to fully utilize the new classroom and continue supporting all the programs of the government. The PTCA and the students thanked those behind the donation of the modern, well-lighted and well-ventilated classroom. They vowed to maintain it properly. The continuous effort in building infrastructures especially for education is just one way of showing the administration's aspiration for the betterment of the young.
