THE NAME OF JESUS IS EXALTED

Isaiah 12:4- “In that day you will say: Give thanks to the LORD, call on His Name, make known among the nations what He has done and proclaim that His name is exalted.” Allelluiah!

I want to shout to all the ends of the earth His glory for saving me and my whole family and the whole of our thousand generations as He has promised. Really GOD is working tremendously in our lives and it is because God's miracle in my life has been lifted up. In the year 1979 when I joined the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement I was tested. I was diagnosed of tumor in the ovary. The doctor did not prescribe medicines for the treatment but only vitamins in preparation for my operation. My husband at that time was still working in Davao City . After I knew the diagnosis, I could not sleep and thank God that I was already in the renewal. I applied what I have heard and what I have learned from the teachings in the renewal. Instead of worrying that I could not sleep, I knelt down, prayed and cried out to the Lord for mercy to extend my life for the sake of my child who was still 10 months old; read the Bible and listened to His message; raised up my hands and praised Him.

My husband called me up by long distance and advised me to go to Cebu for a second opinion. Sending money at that time was not as fast as this time because there was no ATM yet, so, I waited for two weeks. When I received the money, I went to Cebu Doctor's Hospital with Ninay Julia and glory to God the result was negative. I never give testimony after knowing the result. But God wanted to be recognized of His mighty deeds. Few months after, I have discovered a cyst in the right purse of my child. I went to the doctor in one of the private hospitals here and she told me that it was really cyst and she advised me to observe the growth. For fear of the child's operation, I did the same thing when I was diagnosed of the tumor and another glory of the mighty thing that God made, the cyst was gone. I had observed that this child has one egg or the other one cannot be seen. I told my supervisor in our Office, about the problem of my child and she told me that this is called “hernia” and she told me this needs operation. For fear again of operation, I did the same thing and praise God it was healed and was restored normally.

God allowed all these trials in my life and my family so that we will become living witnesses and all of us will be serving God sincerely and that His Name is magnified. God did not heal only the tumor but all the pains I suffered including hemorrhoids, headache, stomachache, back and breast pains and not only physical healing but also more of it “is the salvation” He has promised. God also did great and mighty things to my own family, my father, grandparents, my sister, brothers and my in laws and the relatives of our in laws, neighbors, office-mates, friends and all the people that we evangelized and received Jesus. For the glory of God their testimonies will follow for others to know that Jesus is still doing miracles today, yesterday and forever. I have received the gift of faith, the grace from God because I was inspired to listen to the testimonies of others who became living witnesses and not only listening and reading but proclaimed their victories for others to be blessed. I believed this is the reason why God called me to have these testimonies published in this newspaper so this will reach to all the ends of the earth and that whoever reads this column will be healed and will be blessed IN THE NAME OF JESUS WITH THE PRAYERS OF OUR DEAR MOTHER MARY.
