Sevilla bags best exhibitor award

MUNICIPALITY of Sevilla bested other displaying contingents to bag home the prize as the month-long Bohol Sandugo Agri-fair successfully wrapped-up with a closing program last July 31, 2006 at the Bohol Agriculture Promotion Center. Highlighting the said activity was the awarding of prizes to the different to exhibitors who excel in their different categories.

Duero on the other hand closed a year with a 2nd place while City Government of Tagbilaran took the third place. In the flower and garden show category, Lucky Agri Ventures grabbed the 1st place, Ora flower garden placed 2nd while Laurence Paul Garden got the 3rd place.

Corella bagged the Most Cooperative LGU award followed by Sevilla and Ubay. It can be recalled that this year's agri-fair which bears the theme, Mabungahong Bol-anong Paningkakay” is participated by Local Government Units, People's organizations, commercial establishments, and non-government organizations.

Exotic fruits, processed foods mainly made from tuna and handicrafts from Mindanao were also showcased. The Sandugo Agri-fair is a yearly activity timed for the Sandugo in partnership with the Provincial Government, the City Government and the Bohol Sandugo Foundation, Inc.
