Praise Be To God

I Peter 1:3,5 “Praise be to the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.”

I am Mrs. Josefina C. Tagab of Lomanoy, Lila, Bohol . I am very much happy to share God's power to heal and testify that God is the great healer of all healers. Before I met God with His mercy and powerful deeds, I was so very sickly and even underwent surgery. Now, I want to proclaim the miraculous deeds of Jesus that I experienced in calling His name. On January 2003, I got sick of fever. My daughter-in-law was a new member of the Charismatic Healing Ministry. Through her faith and experiences, I learned that God is still doing miraculous acts at present. I witnessed that my grandson was healed of fever by prayers alone. I decided also to submit to God completely.

So, I asked my daughter-in-law to pray for me and I joined her. I tried not to have any medication anymore but only prayers. I claimed Jesus' promise in Psalm 34:8. The fever lasted for 3 days and I spitted blood and urinated blood. Because I want to experience the power of God instead of going to anybody else I went with my daughter-in-law to the cathedral in Tagbilaran City to attend the prayer meeting. I was so weak and tired at that time and I chilled but I really stood up and praised the Lord, fought back all my struggles by taking the Name of the Lord as my shield. Truly God is true to His promise. I went back home completely healed. It was my first experience of healing by God's grace and power. God allowed another trial for me to experience healing for the second time. One rainy day, I slipped on a barangay road, my hand was fractured.

Before, I used to go immediately to a quack doctor or “manghihilot”. But having been in the grace of faith, I prayed and read the bible. I claimed His promise in Psalm 34:20, that Jesus protects all our bones not one of them will be broken. Then, I was healed after 1 week. That incident happened again. I prayed heartily coupled with faith and I was healed completely. God is good in everything. Even to our things He is our constant guard and He watches over us. I experienced that my three valuable jewelries got lost. First, my wristwatch, then my necklace and the last were my earrings. All those things got lost in separate incidents. My wristwatch was lost in the passenger car/jeepney while I traveled to Tagbilaran, one morning. I prayed to God heartily that my things will be sealed by His precious blood and will be taken cared of and by faith I requested Him that by His grace it will be returned to me.

I was reminded of the experience of Mrs. Ester Morala when her cow was lost for several days she prayed by faith, it was returned. I asked Jesus to return my watch. I went to Dao Terminal and looked for the jeepney if it was there but it was not. By the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I requested my nephew to go to Valencia for the owner was from Valencia . Thanks God! The wristwatch was picked up by the conductor of the jeepney and was returned to me. My necklace was lost inside our house and I found it after I prayed. My earrings were lost also after we went to a prayer meeting to another barrio again I prayed and claimed that in everything I ask in His name, He will give it to me as He has promise in John 14:14. After a week, we went back to that barrio for prayer and the owner or the house where the prayer meeting was held told us that they found the earrings and it was really mine. Praise be to God! Now that we are serving the Lord we experienced tremendous blessings and these are the graces for those who will be closed to Him! Thanks God, for choosing me as one.
