Surigao del Sur to learn from Bohol experience

BOHOL charm continues to hold development planners in awe, and this coming week would be Bohol 's time to showcase to Surigao del Sur during the latter's Legislative Development and Educational Tour here, August 24-25, 2006 .

Surigao del Sur Vice Governor Librado Navarro, in a written communication to Governor Erico Aumentado said the provincial legislators have been tracking Bohol 's progress and are interested to learn more from the experience.

According to Navarro, the Surigao del Sur legislators would be comprised of 20 officials and 80 employees.

While the tour takes to Bohol 's scenic wonders, it also aims to enhance the officials and employees' sense of professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of services to the public, a thing they hope to get here.

He said the tour also aims to acquire knowledge and information of the Provincial legislative program and thus provide the opportunity to network with and secure education from the legislative body of the province of Bohol .

The group is to conduct a courtesy call at the governor's office on the morning of August 24 while the rest of the days will be spent for the educational tour of the different tourist sites in the province.
