Mayor Dumaluan gets doze of own medicine

Mayor Doloriech Dumaluan and his “attack dogs” may have a field day dishing out their own brand of radio journalism from Monday to Friday to put in a bad light their own enemies political or otherwise. Not anymore. Starting August 16, a tit for tat in the radio airlanes will pit Dumaluan and his boys in what is believed to be the best thing that ever happened in radio broadcasting.

Aired over station DYTR, the new radio program will have all the Panglao opposition taking turns in handling the program if only to balance the terror the Dumaluan broadcast must have brought to the radio audience.

The main anchors of the program are Nonie Hormachuelos and lawyers Benjie Arcamo and Dennis Hora, all members of the Panglao Sangunian Bayan.

The program will serve as the opening salvo of DYTR's Cuentas Claras. It will be heard from 7:45 AM to 8:15 AM. In the afternoon, another segment of the program will be heard live from 2:45 PM-3:15 PM.

Considered as a block time slot, the new radio program is totally distinct and different from the station produced Cuentas Claras which is being handled by Ted Ayeng and Boy “BG” Guingguing, editor publisher of the Bohol Sunday Post.
