Muay Thai kickboxing training opens here

MUSTERING the body's energies to transform them into a potent self defense tool has been a focal objective of a new form of full-contact kick-boxing and its prospects are now opened for Boholano enthusiasts. This as the Philippine Muay Thai Federation, Inc. said that trainings will be conducted for professional Muay Thai kickboxers here in the Visayas and potential talents may have their future casted via full contact kick-boxing.

Muay Thai saw the transformation of the human body into a multi-faceted weapon inspired by the common weapons a fighter uses in contact sports. “The shin becomes the staff or spike, used to block and strike. The arms become the raised twin swords of defense. The fists become the jabbing tips of the spear. The elbows develop into battle axe smashing and crushing” Muay Thai practitioners tell. Since its development, Muay has metamorphosed into a modern sport, a full contact kickboxing. All sources agree that Muay thai originated from a person to person combat in Siam and was developed as Chinese who migrated to Thailand from China perfected the art.

In Bohol , enthusiasts call on interested male and female, 15 to 18 years old, 5'2" to 5'10" in height to come and see master Nel for a personal interview prior to training. Kick-boxers aged 19 to 25 yearls old may get in touch with Master Nel thru +639174267690, 038411-2059, (038) 235-6933 or visit his website at www.asianbroldei.tk .

Muay thai in Bohol again opens wide doors for local talented fighter for foreign competition as after the initial test tournament in Manila , qualifiers and promising fighters see tournaments in Thailand , South Korea , China , Japan and some European countries. Furthermore, Master Vargas said they are considering experienced Martial Artists with Savate, Sabaki and Kyoshinkai Karate as discipline and amateur boxers to comprise the team.
