There was no Dunkin Donuts in Tagbilaran City in the ‘90s. Back then, Dunkin's commercial on TV was just a mouth watering experience to a Boholano kid! Now on its third year in Bohol , Dunkin Donuts has added a sweeter and more delectable character to the Boholanos.

Dunkin Donuts was born in Minnesota , USA in 1950. In 1980 it has reached the Philippines . Its expanse in the Visayas area started in 1986. Bohol welcome Dunkin Donut in 2004 with world-record sales of 80,000 units estimated to cost at around P1.1 million on the first day of opening. As of press time, no other Dunkin Donut store in world has ever broken the record! Dunkin was brought to Bohol thru the franchisee Choco Hill Food Chain, Inc. with the efforts of Dunkin Donuts vice president for the Visayas and Northern Mindanao areas Jonathan Uy Gesalem. Dunkin Donuts Bohol manager Dennies Pascual T. Du acknowledges the Boholano's patronage of the products. In its first three-years in Bohol , Dunkin Donuts has become part of the Boholano's daily life. Dunkin Donuts Bohol has actively participated and supported medical missions, outreach programs and many other community and civic activities. It has now become among the most generous donors to charitable institutions and community events.

2007, first quarter charmers

Good news for Boholanos! Dunkin Donuts shall peg its donuts at a price of P10.00 per piece! Dennies Du gave this assurance with a couple of goods news in Dunkin's promos and freebies! For this month, January, Dunkin shall boost with Buenas Docena. Boholanos can enjoy 15 pieces of regular donuts for the price of P120.00 only—that's 12 pieces of regular donuts plus 3 donuts for free! For the month of the hearts, February, munchkins will bring charm to love life, career and fortune with the “Lucky 28”. Enjoy the 30 pieces of delectable munchkins plus a lucky pig charm cellphone attachable for only P88.00! March's graduation blow-out will surely make a sweeter graduation treat. Plus, this month shall also be a prelude to the Dunkin Donuts summer freebies— summer visor caps with purchase of munchkins!

Expansion (3 stores in one mall)

A new generation outlet shall be opened at the H. Grupo St. entrance of BQ Mall. Upon entrance to the mall, expect to be welcome with the sweet and delectable aroma of dunkin donuts. This is sweet way of saying welcome, the “Dunkin Donuts” way. Boholanos can now enjoy the well-loved “Pasalubong ng Bayan” in the convenience and comfort in the cozy ambiance of a mall. In 2007, Dunkin Donuts shall be opened three stores in BQ Mall.
