In the 70s I was already a member of the Catholic Charismatic but I was lost in the journey of faith as a true Christian because I stopped attending prayer meetings and stopped exercising what was taught particularly praising and listening to the Holy words of God in the Bible because praising is the key to open up the gate of heavens and listening to the words of God is life.

Last February, 2006 I was sick and I was brought to the hospital. I was discharged after the 4th day with all the prescriptions I brought home. I took up all the medicines that were prescribed so as to be cured but I have observed that instead of getting improvement of my suffering it seemed that my body was deteriorating that led me even to the difficulty of walking. My laboratories showed that my blood pressure and sugar count was so high. With all the desires of getting well, I sought the help of other people whom I believed could heal me. I called on many quack doctors but just the same I became weak for I had no appetite to eat and for almost seven months I was just lying down in bed and could no longer do the usual work that I did before.

One of my neighbors, who knew that I was sick and could not walk was touched of my situation. She came to visit me with the Healing Ministry of the Diocese of Tagbilaran. They were sent as angels to my rescue from death. They came for a prayer meeting and they inspired me to receive Jesus as my healer. They came back for several days every evening after the mass at the Lourdes Parish. Thanks God one morning I was surprised that I felt that I had regained my strength and I tried to walk outside and I did it. I started to do the work that I did before and praise GOD I made it. GOD is great and is worthy to be exalted.

Until now we are still having a prayer meeting at home with them and I am now exercising my faith together with my family. With the salvation I received I am doing these testimony for others also to be saved and healed. JESUS is still alive and is faithful to His promise because He has risen from the dead and the power of His resurrection has given us fervent hope. PRAISE GOD Alleluiah.
