EXPECT a stampede of sorts of Taiwanese tourists in Bohol after July. This as Bohol is set to get a fat share of commercial television and cable network time in Taiwan. Bohol is among the Philippine provinces to be featured in Taiwan sometime in July, in preparation for the Taiwanese summer holidays this July to August. Daniel Corpuz, the Executive Director of Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation told the news to Gov. Erico Aumentado. To take the shots in four day marathon shooting is TVBS TV Network who shall be represented by a crew Mr. Hsiao Zi-Shinn, the anchorman reporter and a cameraman who will arrive here on July 13, 2006 . The crew will stay until the 16th of July. The television team will film the Baclayon Church , Loboc Church , Philippine Tarsier and Wildlife Sanctuary, Chocolate Hills, Panglao Beach and Panglao Island Nature Resort. The renowned Loboc Children's Choir will also be rendering songs during the filming of the Loboc Church . The Department of Tourism-Manila through the PCVC and the Taiwan Manila Economic and Cultural Office is endorsing this visit. The travel documentary would deal with the prospective aspects of the Philippines in the fields of tourism and trade and investment. This at the same time can give a positive and wide consumer outlook in the Philippines as a tourism and business destination for the Taiwanese market. Likewise this will show the country's vibrant relations with Taiwan in both industries. Together with Bohol to be featured in this show are Subic , Manila , Leyte , and Cebu . |
