Melecia Uy a daughter of Uy Kia Kee formerly of Dimiao, who later moved to Tagbilaran City married Samuel Du or Du Ek Sam, the stepson of Du Que Kwan or Pascual Du of Jagna. Pascual Du, together with his brother, Du .Que Chiong, was the biggest buyer of copra in the area. Their business was lucrative, they bought copra from the countryside at competitive prices and selling it to exporters. Full story |

CEB retires DC9 planes for all-new Airbus fleet |
oCebu Pacific (CEB) started flying an all-new Airbus fleet, July 27, 2006 with maiden flights of Airbus 319 to Zamboanga and Butuan. This makes CEB the youngest fleet in the country and one of the youngest in Asia with a fleet age of less than 7 months. --- Full story |
