Another shooting in Buenavista town

Another shooting incident was reported in Buenavista town last weekinvolving a habal-habal (motorcycle for hire) driver and his passengers. The victim was indentified as one Eugene Estorgio, 21, and a native of Barangay Lapacan Sur of the said town. According to initial investigation, the victim was plying his trade the night when the incident happened.

Police investigators revealed that two still unidentified passengers hailed Estorgio and ordered them to deliver them to barangay Sweetland, Buenavista town. Upon reaching the place, one of the suspects suddenly took out his firearm. Without saying a word, the suspect shot Estorgio, wounding him in the process. The victim is subsequently rushed to the nearest clinic where he was treated for his injuries. Elements of the Buenavista PNP are still looking into the shooting at the time the report was filed.
