The University of Bohol , once again, proved its academic standard when another batch of its graduates passed the current board examinations for electrical engineers, geodetic engineers, master electricians and master plumbers. Engr. Liberato Lupot Jr., dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, bared that the new electrical engineers who passed the September 2007 board examinations are Engr. Eric Estember of Calape, Engr. Roberto Labendia of Antequera, Engr. Ronal Quimpan of Sikatuna, and Engr. Ariel Torrejos of Alicia. For Geodetic Engineering, also given in September, Engr. Doris Bag-ao of Batuan, Engr. Joseph Cepedoza of Danao, Engr. Ervin Doliguez of Bayugan, Agusan del Sur, Engr. Roderick Mumar of Trinida, and Engr. Naomi A Olis of Garcia-Hernandez passed the board exam. On the other hand, the new master electrician is Gerson Tagaan of Valencia , Bohol , while the new master plumbers are Nulfizer Bagatsolon (BSEE) of Anda, Hector Limbago (BSCE) of Dauis, Dodelon Orapa (BSCE) of Danao, and Jerome Reños (BSCE) of Mabini. UB had already produced hundreds of engineers, since it started offering the different engineering courses, many of them are now practicing their professions here and abroad.
