IN PURSUIT OF PEACE

He is known as “no-frills pope” with a real goal to speak the message of peace to all the countries on the world. The very message of the Pope in Seoul,is to encourage peace and reconciliation on the whole Korean Peninsula. In such communist countries as China or North Korea, he entreated messages of peace and wellbeing. He had been to Israel to persuade peace between the Palestinians and Isrealites. However, we also learn news on the rise of Christian persecutions and deaths in communist and Muslim countries.Despite the existence of such well-intentioned international associations as the UN, NATOetc, wars and conflicts continue to occur.

Poverty, disease, corruption, addiction, crime etc. are some of the malaise that beset mankind. These life consequences are the result of man's choice for himself or perhaps he has no choice at all in hostile circumstances. Will the Pope succeed in his message of peace? Could it be the genuine peace we are seeking for? It is said that nothing in this world can truly give peace and contentment to man. Man is created to seek peace and contentment only from his Creator who gives him life.

Tidbits:

According to a survey of 1,900 experts, vast majority believe artificial intelligence “robots” will overcome our lives by 2025.

Automated technology is now used in many factories and plants instead of manual labor of man. But will it be to our total advantage? What will the future hold for us?
