UBAY - This municipality has honored during the annual Christmas program the town’s top taxpayers in keeping abreast with the continuing implementation of tax revenue collection. The recent Christmas Program held night of December 21, 2011 at the Ramon Masaysay Gymnasium took cognizance of deserving business operators with unblemished records of non-compliance and delayed payments. The criteria were based on the detailed records kept at the Municipal Treasurer’s Office. Municipal Treasurer Diosecito Butawan , CPA, said after a thorough discussions with  Mayor Eutiquio M. Bernales, he conceptualized the realization of repaying the businessmen’s exemplary generosity by embracing the town’s program of revenue generation.  The taxpayers concerned eluded penalties by paying as early as possible in the following fiscal year helped upgrade the town’s economic growth well above the rest.

During the same occasion, Kagawad Marilyn Ranara presented the plaques of recognition assited by Mayor Bernales. Among the top awardees were: Irene and David Enterprises thru proprietor Manolito Magaporo; Eufro Construction Supply,proprietor Dalmacio Polo Jr; Kalipayan Beach Resort, proprietor Mrs Luz Sunga; Lhuillier MJ Financial Services, Inc., proprietor Michelle Lhuillier/M.Lhuillier Pawnshop, proprietor Amparito Llmas Lhuiller; Tiongco DryGoods(main and annex),proprietor Teresita Tiongco; Jamisola Rice Mill, proprietor  Arnulfo Jamisola; Avon Sales Center, proprietor  Arsenio Golosinda c/o Flor Racaza and Petron Gasoline Station, proprietor Betzaida Sarabosing. The awarding of plaques highlighted the event.
