Rep. Angelo Palmones will induct this year's officers of the Bohol Tri-Media Association (BTMA) to be led by veteran broadcaster Fred Araneta of dyRD as the incoming president.
Araneta will succeed Lito Responte of dyTR.
Palmones, former station manager of ABS-CBN's top rated Manila station, DZMM, will also be the guest of honor. He won a seat in Congress as a partylist representative of the Alyansa ng mga Grupong Haligi ng Agham at Teknolohiya para sa Mamamayan (AGHAM).
The induction program at Bohol Tropics Resort at 7 tonite will have as guests Gov. Edgar Chatto, Rep. Rene Relampagos, Rep. Erico Aumentado, Rep. Arthur Yap and Mayor Dan Lim.
Together with Araneta to be inducted tonite are Responte, executive vice president; Peter Dejaresco, VP-broadcast, Loy Palapos, VP-print. Directors are Dice Arsenal, secretary; Jerry Pabe, treasurer; Ching Maestrado, asst. treasurer; Beboth Duetes, auditor; Chito Visarra and Weng Vallecer, PRO; Atoy Cosap, Jun Guiterrez, Bob Galero, Ric Obedencio while Salvador Diputado is the legal counsel. Rev Fr. Joseph Skelton, Jr will deliver the invocation while Visarra will deliver the welcome address.The invited local officials will be delivering their messages to the local media group. Responte will deliver his valedictory address while Araneta will follow with his acceptance speech.
Rep. Palmones will be introduced by Dejaresco. Palapos will be the master of ceremonies of the induction program which will be covered live over dyRD.
