San Isidro SK wins prexy in a term-share

 

Doxson Asoy of San Isidro was elected president of the Sangguniang Kabataan while his bitter rival, the son of the Loay mayor settled for vice president in a term sharing scheme. Jetrho Nathaniel Imboy, son of the feisty Loay Mayor Rosemarie Lim-Imboy gave up his child's bid in order to preserve party unity. Imboy was prepared to leave the party that elected her for two terms but cooler heads prevailed. The other officers elected were: Arlene Rule of Corella, secretary;  Louneill Kenneth Guivencan of Dimiao, treasurer; Bjorn Ebojo of Dauis, auditor; and Ian Albert Blasé of Balilihan, public relations officer. Gov. Edgar Chatto swore in the officers for the provincial federated SK following the elections.

It was learned that all the SK positions were uncontested during the nomination and voting proceedings. But no one could confirm if it was part of the agreement. All the SK municipal presidents immediately take the capacity enhancement training held at Bohol Plaza Resort in Dauis after the election, the report said. Twenty-two of a total of 48 young lady-presidents or about 46% dominated the SK federated municipal councils. They are Yvonne P. Bulambot of Antequera; Eliza Miel B. Palacio, Bilar; Cristine Camille G. Unajan, Carmen; Ojileen May A. Maglajos, Catigbian; Johema Marie Aparicio, Clarin; Arlene Rule, Corella; Anabeah M. Apat, Dagohoy;  Kathleen Rose A. Betonio, Duero; Genelyn I. virador, Garcia-Hernandez; Ella Mae B. Tanedo, Guindulman; Kaye A. Salazar, Inabanga; Jessyl Jalop,  Jagna; Mylene Vanessa Silagan, Lila; Eva Mikee Reigh Tampos, Loon; Gladys U. Auditor, Mabini; Amira Alia P. Montero, Panglao; Maria Lenny R. Genita, Pilar; Elizabeth Pondoc, Sevilla; Mary Liene Shaene Karaan, Tagbilaran City; Nina Fatima Mahusay, Talibon; Lhery Ann R. Turan, Trinidad; and Maria Carmel Claros, Tubigon.
