GOOD Morning to all my farming friends and readers, I hope our Lord Blessed you this week, if you are a believer and have faith, I'm sure he did. For me, I am always aware of the Lords presence, he is near and nothing can shake me.

THE WORD OF GOD

This man job was blameless He shunned evil and any shape or form The Lord knew job was a trust worthy man And he would give his life for the Lord So it would have been better if Satan was never born Its hard for us to understand How powerful our Lord can be He can turn our life around I lead you away from evil and sin And show you how to be happy and free The Lord even said a savior would come He would be born in Bethlehem But this would be many years away He assured us he would come He would be born of a Virgin to save a men Of course we must not forget Daniel A man who loved the Lord without fear The king made a law, nobody prayed except to me But Daniel still worship three times a day to the Lord The spies told the king, the punishment is death You will be thrown into the lions den But in the morning Daniel sat among the lions, saved by the Lord They were known as the silent years the ones between But I think they were the years God decided what to do Man selfishness is destroying my creation It must be saved or the prophoseys will not come true I will send my son he said to saved the choosen few Jesus was born in Bethlehem of a virgin You see, this promise of our Lord come true He was born to help sinners repent To change their evil ways and find salvation Jesus was a glorious king born for me and you He roamed the land spreading the word He healed the sick, made the blind see and showed them the way But the scribes and phrases were upset By the way people trusted him They say his king of the Jews, for this he must pay They hang our dear Lord on the cross at Calvary And beat him tell he cried out in pain And he said father forgive them, they are not blame They took his life but not his power He said in the last days I will comes again,

Our topic – Climate change has adversely affected the health and productivity of fruit trees here, don't take my word for it, Ask the farmers. The reason is that the rhythmic cycle of vegetative growth has been distributed due to months of low but sustained rainfall, followed by short periods of dry periods. Longer rain duration resulted in soil saturation which in many cases damaged the roots of fruit trees this then leads to root rot diseases, and the dreaded nematodes. This is then followed by the occurrence of short dry periods which cause plant stress, which again means the plants become susceptible to pests and diseases so their productivity is affected. If we look and study the problem, maybe we can find some solutions, maybe the following suggestions might help, I suggest the trees are well irrigated during the long prolonged dry periods, the water should be aimed at the base of the trees. In your plantation construct an extensive drainage system, construct the canals between the rows of fruit trees, this is to ensure that the rainwater will be drained off within an hour after a heavy downpour.

Another of my suggestions is that farmers shift to organic fertilization, this is because of the high cost of chemical fertilizers, but more importantly, to produce top quality and more nutritious fruits, this will keep the customers safe from chemical residues. In my own mind, I am convinced that which organic fertilizers, the soil becomes much healthier as the organic material supply the nutrients, retains water longer and promotes the reproduction of microorganisms in the soul, what more could you ask for. Most farms have rice strain, corncobs and poultry dung, these can be processed into organic fertilizers. Piled up an moistened to saturation point under shade, the raw materials must be sprayed with a micro base solution weekly for three weeks. Then with the help of the African night crawlers. This is decomposed into vermicast decomposition will take less than a month. This can then be applied to the base of each tree. At the rate of 25kg to 35kg per tree every three months. I was told that you can also apply mykova for better absorption of nutrients and water holding capacity during dry months. The trees should be regularly sprayed with organic foliar fertilizer and pesticides such as vermin tea and microbase solution, use a formulation, use a formulation containing many beneficial microorganisms and enzymes.

I would suggest you try and maintain a good growth cover. This involves the retention of growth cover, this involves the retention of low-lying grasses like carabao grass and leguminous cover crops, this is done because it becomes the habitat, of beneficial insects. It's been noted that the number of cociniled beetles, which feed on scale insects, a news pest from Malayasia infesting longkong significantly increased when ground cover is maintained, whereas in farms with a cleaner culture, it has been observed that infestation of scale insects was severe. To prevent the cover crop from climbing the fruit trees, regularly do ringweeding, one meter away from the base of the tree. Well friends, I hope this has been of some help to you. Take care, see you next week.
