The replica of a 17 th century galleon which was built in Spain made a historical sojourn at the Tubigon port. The crew of Anadalucia were welcomed no less than the mayor himself, Engr. William R. Jao together with the head of the offices of the LGU-Tubigon. Utmost festivity and jubilation met them as they were presented a welcome dance by the Lungsoranon Performing Arts (LUPAE) and the drum and bugle corps of Holy Cross Academy, Salus Institute of Technology and Holy Family of Nazareth School.
The 35-crew vessel showed their happy faces as they were hosted with a welcome salvo of programs and speeches. They were really delighted with the way Tubignons welcomed them that they stayed for four days. Various programs and reception activities were lined up for them as they showcase the wooden replica to the Tubignons and the rest of the Boholanos. |
