Dead flipper found in Jagna

A flipper was found dead in Jagna recently. Agriculture Fishery Technician Roderick Virtudazo assisted by Sonny Natad immediately went to the site where the dead sea mammal was found. Their attention about the marine find was called by Barangay Captain Rogelio Cagata. The dead flipper measuring almost one and a half meters in length was found to have multiple wounds, its body swelling and was already in a state of decomposition. Virtudazo ordered Naatang barangay tanod members to immediately bury the carcass near the coast. It may be recalled that a dolphin believed to be of a bottlenose specie was found stranded along the Jagna seawaters by residents in barangay Pangdan exactly a year ago.
