A high profile drug personality who earned the moniker “Robin Hood” in his neighborhood in Mayacabac, Dauis town fell to police hands Thursday after a follow up raid. The raiding team led by Police Chief Inspector Nicomedes Olaivar, Jr. christened the suspect identified as Servando Busano y Dologan, 54, married and a resident of the same barangay, as the local Robon Hood after it failed to collar him the first time it raided his house. It was only after a hot pursuit operation that the suspect was arrested. The name Robin Hood was in reference to the legendary hero of English folklore who was known as a good hearted outlaw who lived in England 's Sherwood Forest and “robbed from the rich and gave to the poor”.
The Dauis version was discovered by police agents when neighbors refused to divulge details of his presence in the area. Police suspected that in exchange for the people's silence, they must be beneficiaries of his generosity as a result of his lucrative drug trade. Although he was out of the house during the first operations, the raiding team, however, was able to recover one transparent sachet containing white crystalline powder believed to be shabu. Other drug paraphernalia were seized from the first raid. Hours later, another raid was carried out and this was the time that a big haul was confiscated. One big cellophane believed to be shabu consisting of 79 small sachets were seized in his possession. Other drug items were also found in his possession including cash amounting to P1,720 and a Honda motorcycle. The elusive target was found hiding in a cave.
