The festive atmosphere all around Baclayon town is attributed to its 413th Foundation day on Tuesday. As part of the festive air, the town's 17 barangays were afforded the obligation of sponsoring a nightly activity held during weekends. The last of the activity is set tomorrow which is dubbed as LGU Night. Tuesday's commemorative program will open with a holy mass at the Immaculate Conception church with Rev. Fr. Efren Bongay, Baclayon parish priest as main celebrant. The co-celebrant is Rev. Fr. Martin Lupiba. This will be followed with the blessing of new infrastructures.

A floral parade is set in the afternoon while the turnover and TOBOY awarding ceremonies will follow. The afternoon ceremonies will be ushered in with the welcome remarks of V-Mayor Uy.

Erico Aumentado, V-Gov. Julius Ceasar Herrera, Cong. Edgar Chatto and actor-director Cesar Montano. Another event as the town marks its foundation day is the turnover of a book entitled Sustainable Guide Book by the Manila Observatory as represented by Mrs. Antonia Loyzaga and Dr. Rosa Perez to the Baclayon LGU.
