Longest zipline tour eyed for Dimiao adventure tour

DIMIAO–A place as conducive to tourism as this town, coupled with strong determination and focus of the local leaders, heads towards a gigantic venture that fits the town's potentials. Edwin Sacdalan, a private project designer and developer, who designed and developed popular tourist adventures such as E.A.T. Danao, Tagaytay adventure, among others, conducted an ocular inspection on the place where the proposed zipline tour will be constructed.

The rain, the dampened mountain trail and even the foggy mountainscape did not interrupt Sacdalan's deep appreciation of the place. The proposed site, which is more or less 12 kilometers and approximately 30-minute ride from the town proper, is envisioned to break the record to house the longest zipline in Asia . Tourism development is one of the priority projects of the local government, considering that the place itself is a major tourism potential that offers more job opportunities to the constituents, aside from increasing local revenue- -the ultimate goal of the project.
